While it's unrelated to the teaser, there is a clue as to what will be included in the new update that was discovered in September. If there's another possibility regarding what the tent is about, it isn't clear. The most obvious assumption is that the Nightmare update will feature a new map set in a campground. The image shows a tent in the woods, along with some posts holding a string of lights. Second is the teaser image itself, which is already brewing a healthy amount of speculation. It may be small, or have limited new content, or it could be something surprising in nature, but Phasmophobia fans will take whatever Kinetic has put together. The four-player co-op horror game's most recent update came around a month ago, adding a single-player mode and overhauling the journal system.
